Who we are
La Ruche is the controller of the personal data described here. Questions may be sent to the House through the portal or to the address given in your member schedule.
What we hold
- Identity and contact data: name, address, telephone, email, preferred channel.
- Household data: the people you have named, their roles and permissions.
- Request data: what you have asked for, when, and what was arranged.
- Travel and movement data where a request requires it.
- Financial data limited to what is needed to settle a matter.
- Documents you place in the vault, and media attached to a request.
- Technical data: device, approximate location derived from IP, and pages visited.
Why we hold it
To perform the membership agreement, to arrange what you ask for, to meet legal and anti-money-laundering duties, and to defend legal claims. We do not process your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
Special category data
Health, dietary and accessibility information is processed only where you have provided it for a specific request, and only for as long as that request requires.
Sharing
Data is shared with suppliers strictly on a need-to-know basis, under written confidentiality terms, and using an alias where the matter is sealed. It is shared with regulators and law enforcement only where we are compelled.
Retention
Request records are retained for seven years from closure. Vault documents are retained until you remove them. Applications that do not proceed are retained for twenty-four months.
Your rights
Subject to local law you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and you may object to processing. You may also complain to your supervisory authority.
Requests go to lise@laruche.ae. La Ruche answers within thirty days.
Transfers
Where data moves outside your jurisdiction we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
