Our position
The House does not tolerate forced labour, bonded labour, child labour or human trafficking in its own operations or in its supply chain.
Our supply chain
The House engages hospitality operators, marine crew agencies, ground transport providers, private aviation operators, household staffing agencies and specialist trades. Crew, staffing and trades carry the highest inherent risk and receive the closest attention.
Due diligence
- Written labour-standards terms in every partner agreement.
- Verification of crew and household staff contracts, pay and repatriation terms.
- Refusal to work with agencies that charge recruitment fees to workers.
- Periodic review of partners in higher-risk jurisdictions.
Raising a concern
Anyone may raise a concern confidentially through the House. Concerns are reviewed by the House Manager and, where credible, result in suspension of the partner pending investigation.
Training
Staff who select and supervise partners receive annual training on indicators of forced labour and trafficking.
